Assembly Instructions: Select and color clothing. Cut out clothing (clothing may require assistance from adult, depending on skill level of student). Assemble and glue clothing on the frog image. Use the word list to write a sentence about your frog. For Example: Mr. Leap Frog is wearing a pink jacket, blue pants and glasses. 3 lined paper versions included!

Draw a line to match the frog to the correct sized lily pad.

To Assemble: Print lily pads. Laminate for durability. Organize #s in traditional hopscotch order.
To Play: Child first predicts how far they think they will leap. Record this on the form. Next, child stands at starting mat. Child holds a frog and leaps. Place frog marker at feet once jumped. Finally, measure actual distance leaped.
Trace the lines. The perfect prewriting activity for Leap Year!
To Complete: Cut on dotted lines to create 3 pieces/strips. Glue pieces together as instructed. Draw a line to each lily pad. Catch the fly!!
